Our plan for LREC 2022 is to hold the conference in-person as our community has come to expect, but with a virtual component to accommodate those who simply cannot join us.

More than 70% of those who responded to our polls expressed a preference to attend in person. In response to that demand, LREC 2022 will be held in person at the Palais du Pharo in Marseille as we had planned for 2020.

There will be three kinds of presentation:

• Oral (in-person)
• Poster (in-person)
• Remote

Authors of all accepted papers, of any type, will pre-record and upload their presentations*. Pre-recorded presentations will be available to registered attendees via a discussion forum organized into thematic sessions. Attendees can view the presentations and pose written questions to the authors beginning 1 week before the conference begins and continuing until 1 week after the conference ends.

Additionally,

• Oral presentations will be delivered live and in person to the entire audience, on-site and remote. Authors will take questions from the on-site audience. Remote attendees can submit written questions during the presentation. A moderator will select among those questions to pose to the speaker.
• Poster presentations will be delivered live and in person to the on-site audience. During the live poster presentations, there will be no remote audience.
• Remote presentations will be pre-recorded and available as mentioned above. Authors of remote papers will monitor the forum and interact with viewers.

Finally, all final papers will be published in the Proceedings.
